My favoriate hotel in San Andres is the Mary May Inn. Small family environment. Air conditioning, hot water, close to beach and decent rates.Check them out before your next trip.

You will have several hurdles... first residency in Colombia, then residency in San Andres.. then finding a job. It is a great place to relax but don't even think about trying to work!

What are some of the things that someone really needs to look into before traveling to Colombia? I am saying this in light of there being different requirements; legal or those to do with residence in different countries. Does it mean that that hotel is the best in the country?Interesting that you have to get Colombian residence first then deal with that of San Andres..that is quite hectic.
