John I'm interested to know why you would recommend Bucaramanga, do you live there yourself or have you visited before? Are there many expats living there or what is it about the place that makes it recommendable?I read this: Bucaramanga, is a beautiful city which is known as the city of parks. It is the industrial and comercial center of the northeast section of the Country. Industry, commerce and services are the main sources of income for the municipality and there are numerous businesses dedicated to the production of beverages, cement, cigarettes, preserves, agricultural machinery, automotive parts, garment industry, footwear and chemical and pharmaceutical products. Its strategic position as the main route to northeastern Colombia has contributed to its intense commercial activity. The municipality has many places of interest and it also has an important hotel infrastructure and offers its visitors modern shopping malls with all the modern conveniences. Sounds like a busy place, but very heavy on industry.... |
