What level of seriousness is there in this Latin America country, concerning education and what not? Is it taken as very much important thing for the youths of this nation to find themselves dealing up with?

"Colombian culture"
Colombia is a very special country. The reason for this "specialness" is that Colombia has been engaged in civil strife and warfare longer that any other country on earth... What this has done to it´s young people is anyone´s guess. If you add the drug trade to this cocktail, and perceive that this trade, which is almost as strong as the national budget, then you see that it has really upset the cultural balance of Colombia´s youth. Colombians, in my experoence, are particularly serious in their attitude toward education. Just the fact that they speak the finest version of the Spanish language, the closest to the real "Castillian" tongue, closer to the Spanish, is a direct confirmation of this fact. • Page 1 (Original Post) •
