'Rhinoplasty' Cali

Hello all. I'm planning a trip to Cali,Colombia next month and would like to go ahead and get my nose done considering the cost is much less. I'd appreciate anyone's info., advise, pics. regarding doctors and surgery they've had in Cali. My aunt underwent breast augmentation in Cali done by Doctor Jorge Arturo Diaz Reyes. Any info? Yes the Best Doctor in Colombia works for Clinica Corpo Perfeito info@clini corpo perfeito.com (all togheter) Contact them and you will be thankfull for the rest of your life. THEY ARE THE BEST EVER!!!

I just want everyone to share from my experience.

I went to South America (Colombia) for plastic surgery. I paid FIVE TIMES what the actual surgery costs were SIMPLY BECAUSE I was an American. Please, anyone wishing to go overseas, do NOT use a "Clinic" or purchase a "Medical Tourism" package. You don;t get what you paid for and you will be furious when you find out how padded the bills were. As for the surgery, they DON'T have the technology they use here in the USA. So you will be swollen for longer and they don't yet have laser technology but the prices they charge you will reflect it as if they do.

Ask what doctors they plan to use and contact them directly. More often than not, the doctors will be more than willing to do all to accommodate Americans. You will pay Colombian prices which are probably 3 times to 2 times cheaper than "American" prices. As for me, I may just save the next visit for a local doctor. The "savings" were not all that great over seas nor where the "results." You just cannot beat our technology.

Ask the doctors what method they plan to use before you make a decision and be wary of believing all the "postings" you see which are usually placed by the owners themselves.

Call the doctors, get the prices. Even pay a translator a few bucks to do it. You will be surprised to see how many thousands you will save!!

Make some local friends... have them make the arrangements so the clinic doesn't know your American until you show up.

I think you will find that some Dr's/Clinics do have the same equipment and training you would find in the USA.. but that doesn't mean that all of them do.

Guess you are one of those "bitter" once. That is what you get from not planning ahead. Undergoing such critical operations requires proper research and preparation. You don't go all the way to the end of the globe just to get your face messed up. Believe it or not sis, there are reliable and guaranteed yet cheap cosmetic surgeries outside the United states, you just have to properly investigate and research about them.

I agree with Dane Mitchell's he has the right idea. If she got plastic surgery that was five times more than usual then she obviously didn't plan ahead and if she did she shouldn't have went somewhere that wasn't legit.

Must agree with posts #6 and #7, obviously Miss Fine did not research her options. You ended up paying 5 times as much money for going out of the United States, and for what a nose job? What was your motivation in doing this? You probably went to the first doctor who said he would do it, and that is a BAD decision.
