I don't recall his name but there is a Colombian artist famous for painting fat people.
We were looking at some of his paintings at a shop in Cartenga when a tourist from the hotel across the street (one that costs some US$350+/night) came barrelling out and told us to get out of the way so he could photograph the paintings.
Oh... I looked up his name... Fernando Botero.. and a link on wikipedia for more...
